Game Grumps is a popular YouTube gaming channel, featuring co-hosts Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan. Due to the general comedic nature of their show, they often receive a lot of fan content where artists have taken audio from episodes of the show and turned them into animations, often drawing Arin and Dan as characters within the games they play.
Currently, Game Grumps features a new 'Game Grumps Animated' once a week on their channel. Something I love about this is that, since their channel is at 5.33M subscribers as of writing this, there is such a large audience that has the chance to view these animations. It gives smaller and independent animators a chance to create something and have their work featured and exposed to a lot of people.
Back in 2017, Game Grumps organised their first 'Animate-A-Grump' video—this involved a large number of animators getting together to collaborate and create an animated version of a full 16-minute long Game Grumps episode, the infamous Battle Kid episode. From here, another Grumps collab was organised, called 'The Grumps Variations' which saw animators from the previous collab return, along with new animators as well. A former co-host of Game Grumps, JonTron, released his own animation collaboration for a charity event in 2016. A number of animators from there are well-known for creating animations for other popular gaming YouTubers as well, so it's no wonder they found their way into Game Grumps Animateds later on.

What I particualrly love about Game Grumps Animateds is that there is such a variety in the styles and mediums used. Yes, a lot of the animations are made just using frame-by-frame, but there is a range of other animators that like using stop-motion, puppeteering or 3D animation, and they all have their own unique look, such as Pixilpit's boxy-headed character designs.
A positive of this is that some of the animators involved in the collaborations or in just creating Game Grumps animations in general, have become well-known enough in that circle to be professionally hired by the Game Grumps themselves for their own projects. For example, animators like Shoocharu, iscoppie and TheSmashToons have all worked on Game Grumps Animateds but have also been professionally hired by co-host Dan Avidan for music videos for his band, Ninja Sex Party.
Finally, I just wanted to add a few of my favourite Grump animations I've seen over the years!
